'They Came From Outerspace' Alien Head
Design your own They Came From Outerspace alien head and be in with the chance of having your design be transformed into a 3D sculpture by professional sci-fi model maker, James Burgess.
The sculpture will be revealed at KAPOW 2024 with a photo opportunity with James and the winner. The model will then be displayed in the shop window of Who-Ray! On Silver Street for 1 month before being handed to the winner to keep. All highly commended artwork will be displayed around the Globe on the day of KAPOW.
HOW TO ENTER
All entries should be original characters and should be painted or drawn in any medium and no bigger than A3 in size. On the back, please tell us more about your creation. Does it have a name? Where would it live? What would it eat?
All entries should be marked KAPOW Competition and sent in or handed in at The LINK, 153A High Street, Stockton-On-Tees, TS181PL.
On the back of the drawing please include child’s name, age, parent/guardian’s full name and contact details.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• To enter this Competition, entrants must submit a picture of their “They Came From Outerspace” Alien Head Creature and participant details.
• The Competition commences from Thursday 28th March 2024. The Competition closes on Monday 27th May 2024 (“The Closing Date”).
• Entry into the Competition is limited to one entry per Eligible Entrant.
• It will be the responsibility of the Eligible Entrant and their parent or legal guardian to ensure that their Entry does not contain, or reference trademarks, logos or designs owned by others. The professional modelmaker, James Burgess or organisers will not be responsible for any infringement of intellectual property rights.
• Entries which have been created using artificial intelligence technology (AI) will not be accepted.
• Competition entries cannot be returned.
• To be eligible to enter the Competition, entrants must obtain permission from their parent or legal guardian and must be aged between 5 and 18 on the date of entry. Entries will be judged in the following age categories: 5-9 YEARS, 10-14 YEARS, 15-18 YEARS.
• By applying, the applicants must agree to be present at the KAPOW 2024 event at Stockton Globe, 153A High Street, Stockton-on-Tees,TS18 1PL on Saturday 6th July 2024.
• By applying, the applicant must agree that their photo and other visual submissions can be used for marketing and publicity purposes.
• Entrants must be willing to participate in a photoshoot when picking up the prize.
•Entrants must agree that the model will be displayed in the shop window of Who-Ray! On Silver Street for 1 month before being handed to the winner to keep. All highly commended artwork will be displayed around the Globe on the day of KAPOW.
